QUEEN'S DREAMS INITIATIVE - Inclusion for Children with Disabilities
Community Living
In times of crisis, people who need’s special care are among the most vulnerable sectors of community.
Queen’s Dreams Initiative has now mobilized in full emergency mode to assist hundreds of people needing special care through out FCT- Abuja and some neighboring cities (as the case may be).
With our therapeutic centers to assist managing onboarding, therapeutic, and counselling services.
Vocational Rehabilitation
We’re committed providing a broad continuum of vocational opportunities and vocation-oriented activity for people with all types of special needs care.
We’re working round the clock with experts, research bodies, and organizations in ensuring powerful delivery of vocational empowerment (skills), knowledge, research works.
Therapeutic Services
We are committed to establishing and equipping recognized therapeutic centers for people needing special care.
Queen’s Dreams Initiative drives towards meeting the critical therapeutic counseling needs of children, youth, and adults with special needs. The Centers will provide therapy for individuals and couples, conducts seminars and group programs, and offers counseling for parents and professionals.
Children and Youth
Children, Young Adults, and Adults with special needs are at the center of our vission, mission, short and long term goals, ensuring inclusivity, potential discovery and life balance.
Queen’s Dreams Initiative have programmes, centers, research and activities that put this special people in our radar 24/7.
Enrichment and Leisure
Our Enrichment and Leisure Program will operate and develop a plethora of culture, leisure, social, and sports programs for people with intellectual, emotional, developmental, and sensory special needs, from every sector of the society.
These programs will operate in the framework of standard community services: institutions of higher education, etc. Also in the fields of art, theater, music, media, sports, recreation, para-medical treatment, and general enrichment.
Accessibility
Our Center for Accessibility will work with the goal of advancing and developing knowledge and information in the area of accessibility for people with special needs. It will be established with a view to improving planning and implementation processes for both physical accessibility and accessibility of services.
The Center will provide professional consulting and planning services for a wide variety of bodies, while developing specialization and expertise.
International
This section of us, gives courses and lectures for professionals from any part of the country and the world.
Training is offered on the following subjects: The community’s approach in responding to people with special needs, training employees how to work with people with special needs, accessibility social and sex education for professionals who work with people with special needs, and tailored training programs by special request.
